Dear Applicant:

The Rousseau Foundation proudly announces our annual Culinary Scholarship Award, established to assist recipients with the costs of their college education.  Each applicant must currently be a high school senior who will enter the freshman year of college or vocational school during

Fall or Winter 20____.

 Recipients will be honored and presented with a scholarship to a culinary school of their choice that they have been accepted to. A scholarship (in gift card form) will be presented once application has been verified and selected by committee (one in Fall and one in Winter).  To be deemed eligible, the following guidelines of this application must be adhered to carefully:

 Eligibility Criteria:

(1)   Must be a graduating high school Senior or currently enrolled in Culinary school.

(2)   Must be a current resident of the Philadelphia, PA area.

(3)   Must be a citizen and permanent resident of U.S.

(4)   Must possess a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.

(5)   Proof of actual enrollment is required before any awarded funds are disbursed.

Read all sections of the application thoroughly

§  Clearly print the required information on the application

§  Sign and date the application (forms will not be processed without applicant’s signature)

§  Attach high school transcript with GPA (grade point average)

§  Include your college/university/school “letter of acceptance”

§  Personal Statement (350-400-word typed essay) must accompany application

            (Handwritten essays will not be considered!)                    

§  Completed applications will be reviewed on an ongoing basis!
